Heterogeneous IoT Networks Architecture

Wireless network heterogeneity and IoT connectivity form the core focus, examining how diverse devices and protocols—including Bluetooth, ad hoc networks, and broader IoT architectures—can be integrated and utilized effectively. A recurring challenge is extracting reliable, actionable information from heterogeneous wireless signals, as illustrated by applying machine learning to Bluetooth data for vehicle counting. The work spans both architectural surveys of heterogeneous networks and practical sensing applications built on top of them.
