Formal Verification IoT Security
Formal verification and validation of Internet of Things systems is the central concern, applying model checking, theorem proving, and related formal methods to ensure correctness, security, and data integrity across IoT applications and protocols. The work spans communication strategies, physical-layer security, and trust frameworks, with several papers providing systematic surveys of the state of formal techniques applied to IoT environments. A recurring sub-theme is the use of formal approaches to address vulnerabilities and attacks, including zero-watermarking schemes for data integrity in wireless sensor networks.
