IoT Technology Survey and Selection
IoT communication infrastructure is the central concern, spanning MAC layer protocols, security mechanisms for Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), and classification frameworks for selecting appropriate IoT technologies. Survey and taxonomy-based methods are used to organize and compare protocols, standards, and deployment considerations across diverse IoT application domains. The work collectively addresses both the technical (protocol design, security) and practical (technology selection) challenges of building reliable IoT systems.
