Help test the app.
The app is not public yet. We will first invite volunteers to a student beta, and app-store access comes later. There is no launch date yet, and we would rather not invent one.
You will try short measurement tasks at FIIT and tell us how they went, especially the confusing and broken parts. No wireless experience needed. A bug you find is a bug a stranger never has to.
Opens the signup form. Leave your email and we will write when a place is free. Joining the list does not enrol you in a study or guarantee a place.
What an invited session involves
- Read the invitation. It will explain the supported phone, installation steps, meeting place and expected time.
- Decide whether to join. Read what the session records and which permissions the app needs before taking part.
- Follow a short task. Depending on the session, you may walk a marked route, scan a card, or stay at a point while measurements run.
- Tell us how it went. A confusing instruction or a crash is useful feedback. You can stop participating at any time.
The task provides a record of what happened in the room to compare with the radio measurements. It does not require you to understand CSI first.
Wi-Fi measurements and BLE monitoring are already active in the library, separately from the volunteer app. Read about the recordings.

The app calls its tasks “quests”. You can read the published instructions here. A listed task or an available device does not mean public app access is open; follow your invitation to join a session.

A quest is run in the study app, which is in closed testing at the faculty. Open one to see what it asks and which nodes are offering it, or see what the fleet is doing right now.
