Integrated Sensing and Communication
Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) systems that jointly perform radar sensing and wireless data transmission within a single waveform and spectrum resource are the central focus. Research spans waveform design, fundamental performance tradeoffs (including KL-divergence and information-theoretic bounds under Gaussian channels), and standardization efforts such as IEEE 802.11bf. Security, privacy, and the path toward 6G deployment are recurring cross-cutting themes.
