Description
HSSD (Khanna et al., CVPR 2024) — 211 high-quality artist-made interior scenes, 18,656 objects across 466 semantic categories, with assets matched to real furniture brands. Higher realism and broader category coverage than 3D-FUTURE, and CC-BY licensed (freely usable). Used by newer synthesis datasets (e.g. IL3D) as an asset source for non-residential room types.
Modality / size
- glTF assets + scene instances on Hugging Face (
hssd/hssd-hab). A few GB. - Predominantly residential recreations, but the 466-category asset bank includes shelving/seating variety useful beyond the home.
Role in this project
- Alternative/adjunct to abo and objaverse as a catalog dimension/material prior and (CC-BY) mesh source for the optional web-atlas 3D. Lower priority than ABO because ABO carries verified real product dimensions.
Acquisition & storage
- License: CC-BY (attribution) — the most permissive of the asset banks.

Why it matters here
- A permissive fallback asset bank if ABO's non-commercial clause blocks a downstream use, or if we need category breadth ABO lacks.
